Unlike Metro’s Insert series which must be installed into a masonry chimney, Built-In series Metro’s are designed to be installed directly into a timber framed home. This enables the appearance of a traditional chimney but at a much reduced cost.

Vented Zero Clearance Cabinet options

Both the LTD and ECO Inserts detailed on the previous page are available with an optional Vented Zero Clearance Cabinet. The Vented Zero Clearance Cabinet enables an Insert Series Metro to also be installed into a timber framed home.

LTD Mega Built-In

Created purely for homeowners wanting a minimalistic style wood fire offering huge performance. Designed to be installed directly into a timber framed home with a minimal floor protector projection of only 330mm.

This model comes fully assembled within its own zero clearance cabinet, so is supplied ready for installation direct into any wall structure. Its huge firebox ensures maximum output for larger homes, which can be further enhanced with the addition of an optional thermostatically controlled fan.
