The Pedestal Series offer a distinctive pedestal base that gives a more contemporary style. Being convection wood fires, all Pedestal Series Metro’s operate with low cabinet temperatures, enabling compact and safe installation. Utilising Pioneer’s proven wetback systems (not boosters), many thousands of Metro owners throughout the country and across the Tasman enjoy unlimited free hot water during the cooler season. Available in 5 different model/size options ranging from the smallest, super compact 11kW Tiny Ped to the massive 23.5kW Mega Ped, allowing a fire to suit most home designs.

The Pedestal Series are finished in a vitreous enamel, high temperature paint or a baked enamel finish. As all Metros, the Pedestal Series are proudly manufactured here in New Zealand. All fireboxes are made from 6mm carbon steel complete with refractory firebricks to give maximum efficiency, protection and life.

All Pedestal Series come standard with a 5 year warranty on the firebox with the option to extend this to 10 years.
