Metro Insert Series are designed to be installed into a masonry chimney. The Insert Series break away from the norm with gently sloping fronts and styles to complement both modern and traditional settings. Behind the stylish Metro fascia is a 6mm carbon steel firebox available in two sizes and outputs, both available with 3kW or 4kW wetback options.* The Insert Series are finished in metallic black high temperature paint, vitreous enamel or baked enamel silver finish. As all Metros, the Insert Series are proudly manufactured here in New Zealand. All fireboxes are made from 6mm carbon steel complete with refractory firebricks on the side to give maximum efficiency, protection and life.

For installation into a clean air zone, all ECO Inserts must be installed with Metro’s thermostatically controlled fan, which increases heated convection air into the home. On properties of 2 hectares or larger, the fitting of this fan is purely optional, but still recommended for maximising the wood fire’s performance. All Insert Series come standard with a 5 year warranty on the firebox with the option to extend this to 10 years.LTD Insert

The LTD Insert offers the option of Pioneer’s wetback system and overnight burning capabilities. This Insert is 500mm deep, making for great performance. The LTD Insert is available with one fascia option.ECO Insert
